Personal Information
I have three cats: Polly , Lily, and Roscoe. I also have a mother, Joann Brock. I graduated from college with a degree in business administration, but after spending the summer looking for a nice office job, I realized that I felt the call to teach. After receiving my Master of Arts in Teaching degree, I taught a year at Manassas High School, a year at Humes Junior High School, and then I went to Craigmont High School, where I’ve been ever since.
I have always lived and worked in Memphis, and I still like to think I can get anywhere I need to go in 20 minutes. Even though it’s not true any more, I haven’t changed my mind; I just arrive late every where I go.
I love my family and my pets, and my hobbies include reading, water aerobics, and making pottery. Although I will not share a photo of me at my water aerobics class, here’s a photo of one of my pottery pieces (mine is the teapot):
I also enjoy movies, music, and playing trivia with my team Group W. I have never really listened to commerical music, so it’s hard to classify what I like. I like what Duke Ellington, the famed jazz composer and band leader, once said: “There are only two kinds of music: good music and bad music.”
This is really shaping up to look good . I like your comments on Duke Ellington so true.
